The African-American Association, an organization of employees of the National Park Service and the Presidio Trust, is the principal sponsor of an African-American Heritage Event, Wednesday, February 19, 2003, 12 noon to 2 pm, at the historic Officers’ Club, 50 Moraga Street at Arguello Boulevard, in the Presidio. A light lunch will be served. The program is free and open to the public. Buffalo Soldier Tours of the Presidio, led by NPS rangers, will be conducted Saturday, February 15, 10 am to 12 noon and Sunday, February 23, 1 to 3 pm. Women of the World / A Global Collection of Art is a major exhibition presented by the International Museum of Women, March 8 to April 13, 2003 at the historic Officers’ Club, 50 Moraga Street at Presidio Boulevard at the Presidio. For more information see or
